Ravindra Balakantha Thambiayah

Ravindra Balakantha Thambiayah is currently the Executive Chairman at Cargo Boat Development Co. Plc and the Executive Chairman at Renuka City Hotels Plc since 2012.

In the past, Mr. Thambiayah worked as a Director at DFCC Bank PLC from 2010 to 2012, a Non-Executive Director at National Development Bank Plc from 2006 to 2010, an Independent Non-Executive Director at Royal Ceramics Lanka Plc from 2011 to 2015, and held various director positions at Rocell Bathware Ltd., Royal Porcelain (Pvt) Ltd., and Renuka Land Pvt Ltd.
He also served as the Vice President of the Tourist Hotels Association of Srilanka and the President of the Colombo City Tourist Hotels Association.
Mr. Thambiayah completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Madras.
