The idea behind RE-phrase originated in a playful variation on the Twister game, which would give people speaking different languages, a means to communicate. Peter Desain, Professor of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science in Nijmegen, invented the first prototype in the nineties. In time he gathered people around him to start the company RE-phrase, as spin-off of the Radboud University Nijmegen. RE-phrase is now ready to capture market share with its simple but powerful product: dia-logging. Dia-logging breaks communication barriers between organizations and individuals. From January 2008 PPM Oost invested in RE-phrase B.V. PPM Oost fully supports the idea behind RE-phrase and has confidence in the potential of the product.

NovioTech BV operates as a venture capital and an incubator company which specializes in early stage investments. The firm prefers to make investments in the technology sector with emphasis on smart materials, biocompatible materials, fine chemicals, horticulture, pesticides, medical devices, biotechnology, semiconductor technology, ultrasound and wearable sensors. The company was founded by Rob Tweehuysen and Hans Hanssen in 2010 and is headquartered in Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
