He began his federal government career as an Economist with the Department of External Affairs in 1975.
Previously, he held various positions at the National Energy Board, the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, and the Department of Finance.
Mr. Wright received a BA degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario in 1973 and an MA degree in Economics from the University of Manitoba 1975.
