Mr. Tamaki joined SPARX Asset Management Co. (SAM) in June of 2000, and is currently the Head of Business Development based in Tokyo.
Prior to joining SPARX, Mr.Tamaki spent 2.5 years at ITOCHU Corporation in Tokyo where he served in various areas including the bond trading pits, FX trading desk and Hedge Funds investment unit.
He also spent another 2.5 years at Clinton Group, Inc. in New York, at the time the top-ranked CMO and MBS hedge fund, where he was a trading analyst for the market neutral strategy and involved in marketing to Japanese financial institutions.
Mr. Tamaki holds a Bachelorfs degree in Economics from Keio University.
He is a black belt in Kyokushin
