This change will help diversity the company's earnings and provide a greater level of stability to these earnings through all market conditions. The company continues to investigate opportunities in the financial services sector to expand its current capability and to cement its position as a leading provider of independent financial advice and asset management in the Australian wealth management marketplace. The company's strategy is to create, invest in & acquire financial services businesses, generate returns for shareholders from operating & growing its financial services businesses, and as a result there will be less emphasis on investment earnings.
