Mr. Stephen B.
Harris is Vice President at Versa Capital Management, Inc. Prior to joining Versa Capital, he served as a CFO in the chemical and healthcare industries and as a Partner with PriceWaterhouse Coopers LLP.
His experiences cover the manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare and service industries.
Most recently, he was Vice President, Treasurer & Secretary of Houghton International, Inc. a global industrial chemicals manufacturer and service business with over $300 million in revenues.
While at Houghton, Mr. Harris performed the full range of CFO responsibilities, addressed the company's financial leverage by restructuring its debt position, developing initiatives to reduce operating expenses and arranging for the disposition of a non-core business in Europe.
He also helped guide the implementation of the JD Edwards integrated management information system.
Mr. Harris joined Houghton from Primary Health Systems, Inc. a multi-facility hospital management company with $250 million in revenue where he served as the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Harris received his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University, cum laude, in 1976 and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
