Mr. Steven V.
Soranno, CFA MBA, is a Director of Equity Research at Capital Advisors, Inc. (Oklahoma).
He joined the firm in 2017 and has 30 years of investment management industry experience.
Mr. Soranno started his career on Wall Street as part of a top-ranked investment strategy team before attending the University of Virginia’s Darden business school.
He then became a lead sell-side analyst with Oppenheimer before starting a decade-long stint with Credit Suisse Global Private Banking, where he oversaw the U.S.
Technology sector investments and was deputy head of Americas equities research.
He took that global thought leadership expertise to Calvert Investment Management, where he oversaw the firm’s fundamental equity investment process and the integration of material environmental, social and governance information with Calvert’s equity funds.
He came to Capital Advisors from Ameriprise, where he was Director of Equity Research.
His formal education includes an M.B.A.
from the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, and a B.A.
from Colgate University with a double major in Economics and Political Science.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charters.
