Susan H. Blaikie

Ms. Susan H.
Blaikie is the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance, Technology and Operations of Citi Markets & Banking for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), with responsibility for over 9,000 staff across the business.
Prior to her current appointment, she was CFO for Markets and Banking in EMEA after being promoted to Managing Director in 2000.
From 1996 to 1998, she was Controller, overseeing approximately 180 staff covering financial and regulatory reporting and product control.
From 1993 to 1996, she was Director of Operations, after joining Citi's legacy firm, Salomon Brothers, in 1987 as a Vice President in the Business and Strategy Group.
Mrs. Blaikie began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers (then Deloitte Haskins & Sells) in London, before joining the Budget & Planning Group at Merrill Lynch.
For Citi, she is a member of various business and governance committees including the Audit Committee.
She also sits on the Supervisory Board of Bank Handlowy in Poland, plus she is the Vice Chair of the Bank Handlowy Audit Committee.
In addition to her business responsibilities, Susan Blaikie is a leading supporter of the EMEA division of Citi Women, an internal network supporting female executives, plus she also sits on the Steering Committee of Citi Difference, which supports Citi's wide-ranging diversity initiatives.
Outside of Citi, she is a Committee Member of the Prince's Trust Women's Leadership Group, which comprises leading, successful and influential women who are committed to raising funds to help young disadvantaged women.
She is a Chartered Accountant and lives in London.
