Terry Chu

Terry Chu is a member of the Actis Asia Real Estate team based in Hong Kong with responsibility for both finance and operations for the entire team.
He manages the investment process and governance and provides transaction support throughout the investment life cycles in Actis’ Real Estate investments.
He is also responsible for portfolio management and reporting.
Terry joined Actis in 2018 when Actis acquired Standard Chartered Bank’s Principal Finance Real Estate group (PFRE), where he spent over 3 years in a similar role.
Before joining PFRE, Terry spent 2 years in the corporate finance and treasury team at HKR International, a Hong Kong listed property developer with investment focus in Hong Kong, China, Japan and Thailand.
He started his career at Hang Lung Properties, a blue-chip property developer in Hong Kong, where he spent the majority of his 5-year tenure in the corporate finance and treasury function.
Terry holds a Bachelor degree in Integrated BBA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and he is a CFA charterholder.
