Dr. Theo C.
van der Lingen is a Portfolio Manager at Quantum Asset Management (Pty) Ltd.
He is on the Board of Directors at Quantum Asset Management (Pty) Ltd.
He is responsible for managing and overseeing client’s private share portfolios.
He joined Quantum Wealth’s investment team in March 2007.
He worked for eighteen years as an economist in government service in the former Office of the Prime Minister (Central Statistical Service and Central Economical Advisory Service) where he developed econometrical and input-output models for South Africa.
He has been with the private financial sector for more than 21 years.
In this time he was with the former Fedsure Life for two years where he provided clients with sound financial advice.
Thereafter, for the next eight years, he was with PSG fund management as fund manager of various national and international multi-management funds and national and international unit trusts; and also PSG Alphen asset management where he also managed private share portfolios.
He studied Econometric’s at the University of Pretoria up to Master’s Degree level and thereafter obtained his D.Com.
in Economics.
