Tom Bogan

Mr. Thomas R.
Bogan, CFA, is Managing Member at Bogan Associates LLC.
His extensive investment experience covers more than four decades of investing in a wide range of technology and engineering industries, including semiconductors, electronics, aerospace, machinery, shipbuilding, and infrastructure.
In 2014, he was recognized by Wealth & Finance International magazine’s Wealth & Money Management Awards, being named Best Head Fund Manager - Massachusetts.
Before starting Bogan Associates in 2004, Mr. Thomas Bogan served as interim Director of Research for State Street Research in Boston, Massachusetts in 2003 where he reorganized equity research in preparation for its merger with BlackRock.
He was previously Managing Director and Associate Director of Research at Putnam Investments from 1994 to 1999.
Before moving to Boston in 1994, he was Senior Analyst and Co-manager of the Research Fund at Lord Abbett & Co. in New York.
From 1973 to 1988, Mr. Thomas Bogan was with Alliance Capital Management (now AllianceBernstein) in New York, where he was a Semiconductor Analyst, Senior Vice President, and Co-manager of the Analysts’ Portfolio Fund.
His career began as an Officer in the United States Navy.
He received his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
