William Boyd Dover

William Boyd Dover has been President of Providence Service Corp.
since April 1997.
Prior to joining Providence, he served as Executive Director of Desert Hills in Tucson, Arizona from January 1995 to March 1997.
Mr. Dover spent 4 years as the Director of the Pima County Juvenile Court in Tucson.
Previously, he served as Assistant Director of the Department of Economic Security and as Assistant Director of the Division of Behavioral Health within the State Health Department.
He was the Deputy Director of the State Health Department for 4 years and an Assistant County Manager for Health Services in Tucson for 2 years.
He was appointed by the Governor to serve as the Acting Director of the Health Department.
Mr. Dover received a BS and a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1963 and 1965, respectively.
