Woods has been a Chairman of The Derbyshire Building Society since 2007, which he joined in 2001 as a Director.
He is a Director of the Trustee Company for the Society’s Staff Pension Scheme.
Mr. Woods is Chairman of the Society’s Nomination Committee and a Member of the Remuneration and Audit Committees.
He has been lay Treasurer of Loughborough University since 2003 and was appointed a Regional Committee Member of National Trust.
Mr. Woods was Chairman of the University of Derby.
He is a Chartered Accountant.
