The firm operates through four divisions: Surface Coatings, Impregnation Sealants, and Process Plant and Equipment. The Surface Coatings division specializes in modifying component surfaces to operate in harsh environments. The Impregnation Sealants division provides permanent solutions to porosity in materials, especially metal castings. The Process Plant and Equipment division operates and manages in-house surface treatment plants and impregnation lines within its clients premises. The company was founded by Norman Leslie Stephen Hay on February 25, 1946 and is headquartered in Coventry, the United Kingdom.
