Anton Zavyalov

Mr. Anton Zavyalov is a Co-founder & Portfolio Manager at Promeritum Investment Management LLP.
He is Managing Partner of ProMeritum Investment Management LLP.
He is jointly responsible for formulating and the execution of the investment strategy in EM credit and managing macro risk across asset classes.
Prior to founding Promeritum, he was Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities at Renaissance Capital where he spent over 12 years, having joined in 2002.
His role included being a Member of the Executive and Risk Committee, allocation of the firm's capital globally, and responsibility for the execution of the firm’s strategy in the former Soviet Union and Sub-Sahara Africa.
Prior to this role, he was the Head of the Russian Office at Exotics Ltd, part of the ICAP Plc.
where he developed and supported quantitative models for the valuation of high yield and distressed securities his previous career also spans positions at Moscow Investment Alliance and Credit Suisse First Boston.
He holds a Masters in finance from the London Business School and an MBA from the California State University, Hayward, run jointly with the National Academy of Economy in Russia.
