Samson is currently the Chairman of Advertising Foundation of The Philippines, Executive Director of e-Business Services, Inc., Director of Filcredit Finance & Capital Development Corp., President of The Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation, Inc., President of Metropolitan Museum of Manila, and President of The Media Specialists Association of The Philippines.
He previously held positions as President & Chief Executive Officer of MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. and OMD Philippines, Inc., Group Chairman & Chief Business Strategist of DDB Worldwide Communications Group LLC, and Independent Director of Vantage Equities, Inc. He was also an Independent Director of Apollo Global Capital, Inc. and a Director of Italpinas Development Corp.
In addition, he served as Executive Vice President of PLDT, Inc. from 1982 to 2003.
Mr. Samson received an MBA degree from the Asian Institute of Management in 1971, an undergraduate degree from the University of Ateneo de Manila in 1966, and a graduate degree from the University of Asia & the Pacific.
