Christie L. Porter

Ms. Christie Porter is Chief of Member Services at San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association.
She joined San Bernardino in 2004.
Prior to that, she was a Business Analyst for Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. She also spent 4 years with Orange County Employees’ Retirement System in progressively responsible positions, directing a staff of 10 Retirement Program Specialists and Benefits Technicians.
She earned a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
She has also achieved her Project Management Professional designation, as well as earning a certificate in Project Management from UC Riverside.
Ms. Porter also holds a BA in Human Resources Management from CSU Fullerton, as well as a Certificate of Achievement in Public Plan Policy from IFEBP.
Her professional expertise is currently shared with the San Bernardino County Employees’ Benefit Advisory Committee, the SACRS Education Committee and the SACRS Nominating Committee.
