Dave Sheffler

Mr. Dave Sheffler is Vice President-Sales of Mellanox Technologies, Inc. He was employed at Advanced Micro Devices from August 1991 until January 2000 including his time at Nexgen, which merged with AMD in January of 1996.
During that time he held the positions of Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Americas (AMD), Vice President of Channel Sales and Field Marketing, Director of Channel Marketing (AMD), Vice President of Worldwide Sales (Nexgen), and Director of Sales (Nexgen).
He spearheaded AMD's launch into the U.S.
retail PC market where AMD grew from a market share of 1.9% to a high of over 50% market share for both desktops and notebooks.
He managed the sales force through a number of successful product launches and was responsible for the sales organization that covered 3 product groups: Computation Products Group, Memory Group, and Communications Group.
At Nexgen he was part of the senior management team that successfully drove the company through an IPO and eventual sale to AMD.
At Nexgen he built the worldwide sales force and field operations from its infancy; establishing an organization which included direct sales, application engineering, manufacturers reps, and distribution, in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Previous experience included being a member of the management team of Dell that launched Dell into the enterprise market and various sales and management roles at Motorola.
He holds a degree in Business Education from University of Northern Colorado, where he graduated with academic distinction.
