Bennett is a Chief Investment Officer at Tolleson Private Wealth Management LP, at Tolleson Wealth Management (Private Equity) and a Chief Investment Officer & Director at Tolleson Wealth Management, Inc. He is on the Board of Directors at Tolleson Private Wealth Management LP and Tolleson Wealth Management, Inc. Mr. Bennett brings more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, investment management, and philanthropy.
He was Chief Executive Officer for the firm’s private wealth management division until 2013, playing a key, decision-making role for investment strategy, asset allocation, and manager selection.
In 2013, he became the founding Executive Director of the Brain Performance Institute at the Center for BrainHealth, a University of Texas System organization.
He was an active volunteer at the Center for BrainHealth for 10 years and joined full time in a leadership role to build and grow the Institute.
Under his direction, the Institute substantially increased visibility and credibility in the community.
He began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in 1987.
He later joined Ernst & Young, where he served as Senior Manager for private clients and led the firm’s Southwest Area Investment Advisory Services team.
He received a bachelor’s degree in Finance with honors from the University of Missouri.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
