Eric Matthew Bland

Mr. Eric M.
Bland, CFA MBA, is a Senior Portfolio Manager at WMS Partners LLC.
He has focused on analyzing investments and building portfolios for a wide range of clients.
He is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Chair of the Public Markets Investment Committee.
In his role as Portfolio Manager, he utilizes his knowledge of investments to develop and research new investment ideas for clients and perform continuing due diligence on existing holdings.
In addition, he works with Senior Client Advisors to manage, monitor, and maintain client portfolios.
He serves on the Board of Mother Seton Academy, a tuition-free, independent Catholic Middle School located in Baltimore City.
Prior to joining WMS Partners, Mr. Bland was a Senior Client Analyst at Marquette Associates, Inc. and Assistant Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Christiana Trust.
He graduated from University of Delaware, where he earned a dual BS degree in Finance and Marketing.
He later earned his MBA in Finance at Wilmington University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder, a member of The CFA Institute, and the Baltimore CFA Society.
