Prior to joining Stripes Group in early 2003, Mr. Weiss served as the Director of Acquisitions for Internet Capital Group (NASDAQ: ICGE) where he identified, researched, negotiated and structured private equity transactions.
Mr. Weiss served on the Board of Directors of a number of Internet Capital Group's partner companies.
Prior to Internet Capital Group, Mr. Weiss was with GE Equity, the private equity and venture capital arm of the GE Capital Corporation.
Mr. Weiss was a proprietary bond trader and Assistant Vice President US Government Agency Securities with Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc.
Mr. Weiss holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Maryland and earned an MBA with concentrations in finance and entrepreneurship from Columbia Business School.
