Mr. Weill, a native of Baton Rouge, has practiced law continuously in Louisiana's capital city since 1972.
He is a founding partner of the law firm of Weill, Dunn & Koch, LLC.
He is also a 1972 honor graduate of the Louisiana State University Law Center.
During law school, he served as Senior Associate Editor of the Louisiana Law Review and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.
In addition to serving on the Board of the LSU Foundation, he is a board member and Past President of the Cadets of the Ole War Skule, a member of the Alumni Board of Trustees of the LSU Law Center, a member of the board of the Reilly Theater/Swine Palace, and a member of the LSU Alumni Association.
In the community, he is a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Baton Rouge, a board member of the Greater Baton Rouge Literacy Coalition, and a board member of the Louisiana Military Hall of Fame and Museum.
He is a life long member of Congregation B'nai Israel of Baton Rouge, having served as President of the Congregation and Chair of its Foundation.
He is also a Past President of the Jewish Federation of Greater Baton Rouge.
Mr. Weill graduated form LSU with a degree in accounting in 1969, achieving a class rank of first in the College of Business Administration.
