Mr. May was previously at Merrill Lynch/ Blackrock before co-founding Entropy with Sylvia Chan.
As Deputy Fund Manager of the Asian Dragon Fund, he oversaw US$1.7bn in assets as the team’s China specialist.
He also managed the US$70m Asian Small Cap portfolios which significantly outperformed their benchmarks during his tenure.
Mr. May spent three years seconded to the Bank of China in Shanghai where he was the only non-Chinese fund manager, focusing on Energy, Basic Materials and Infrastructure.
While in China he was deputy fund manager of the flagship China Opportunities Fund and helped launch China’s first sustainable investment fund which grew to over US$1.5bn.
