Garrett is a Managing Director at Raine.
Garrett focuses on the firm’s principal investments and advisory assignments in the gaming and sports sectors.
While at Raine, Garrett has executed numerous investments and advisory assignments, helping clients and portfolio partners develop and execute on their growth strategies.
Notable engagements include Raine’s investment in DraftKings in 2014 and continued work alongside DraftKings’ management on major M&A opportunities, including its business combination with SBTech and proposed acquisition of Golden Nugget Online Gaming; long-term advisory relationship with Endeavor, including both the $4bn sale of UFC to Endeavor and Endeavor’s proposed $1.2bn acquisition of OpenBet; the sale of the MLS’ New York City expansion franchise (NYCFC); and many additional capital raises and M&A opportunities across the digital media and gaming sectors.
Garrett also helps lead Raine’s investing efforts within its real money gaming practice, with recent investments including Jackpocket and Midnite.

in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
