Gita S. Bal

Ms. Gita Bal is an Analyst in the European Consumer Team.
She joined CreditSights in 2009 with more than 10 years of experience in credit markets in Europe, the US and Emerging Markets.
Prior to joining CreditSights, Gita was a Vice President and Credit Analyst for PIMCO in Europe (2005-2009), covering a number of sectors.
She has also worked at Bank of America in High Yield Research (2002-2003) and Emerging Markets Debt Capital Markets (1998-2002).
She began her career at Bankers Trust in the Latin America Merchant Bank.
Gita received her MBA from the Wharton School in 2005 with dual majors in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management.
She also has an MA in International Studies (2005) with a concentration on Spanish from the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Foreign Service with an Economics concentration from Georgetown University (1998).
