Mr. Gregory Keeley is a Principal at Monument Capital Group LLC.
Prior to joining Monument Capital Group, he served in a number of senior roles in the United States Congress (2005 – 2009).
He has provided counsel to the Chairman of The Joint Economics Committee, the Vice Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, the Chairman of the Foreign Relation’s Sub-Committee on Terrorism, Nonproliferation and Trade and most recently the Ranking Member of the Foreign Relation’s Sub-Committee on the Western Hemisphere and Narcotics.
Born and raised in Australia, he operated for the Commonwealth Government in various roles: He served as a Senior Advisor to the Australian Federal Police - International Deployment Group, during the $2 Billion “Enhanced Co-Operation Program” in Papua New Guinea; He served as a Strategic Advisor to the Secretary of the Defense Material Organization; where he collaborated with defense industry leaders and developed relationships with key analysts.
Mr. Keeley held a commission in the Royal Australian Navy, which included postings and deployments in Australia, the Pacific, the Middle East Area of Operations and the United States.
In 2002 he served as a Military Liaison Officer to the U.S.
Department of Defense.
During his tenure, he deployed to Iraq (2003) and was awarded the Australian Armed Services Medal and the Chief of Defense Force Commendation.
He was an Advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Committee on Defense, Foreign Affairs and Trade in the Australian Senate.
Mr Keeley has been active on a number of Boards including the Council on International Trade, the Film and Television Institute and the Library Board of South Australia.
Mr. Keeley received his undergraduate degree from Curtin University (Australia) and holds a Masters degree in Conflict and Security from Deakin University (Australia).
He is a graduate of the Royal Australian Naval College, HMAS Creswell.
