James Leung

Mr. James Leung is an Investment Manager & Head of Multi Asset at Baring Asset Management (Asia) Ltd.
He is a member of the Strategic Portfolio Group, the company’s global macro research and asset allocation team.
He is responsible for managing a range of multi-asset strategies for Asian institutional clients.
He has worked in the industry since 1992 and has investment management experience in long-only, alternative as well as multi-manager strategies.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, he was Head HK-Multi Asset Class Solutions at Credit Suisse and a member of the Global Asset Allocation Committee.
Prior to that, he held senior discretionary portfolio management roles with firms such as UBS Wealth Management, SEI Investments, GAM, AXA Investment Managers and HSBC Global Asset Management.
He holds a BSc in Quantitative Economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA Investments from the University of Hull.
James is a member of the CFA Institute and a CAIA charterholder.
