Jim T. Callier

Mr. Jim Callier is the founder of Callier Interests.
Since 1982, he has been involved as a principal in twelve acquisitions with aggregate sales of five billion dollars.
He has also been active in venture capital management and investment since 1968.
He and his partners currently control several software companies.
Mr. Callier was one of three founding partners of Wingate Partners, which raised $77 million in 1987 to acquire control of lackluster companies.
Wingate acquired five companies - engaged in manufactured housing, building products, baby products, armored car and banking services, and office products distribution.
He is a Special Limited Partner and Advisory Director of Wingate II, a $130 million fund and Advisory Director of Wingate III, a $90 million fund.
Mr. Callier has a bachelors degree from Vanderbilt University and Masters degree from Harvard Business School.
He is the founder and a trustee of the Sterling G.
Callier Memorial Fund for children with learning disabilities, and has served as Director of the Houston Symphony, Advisory Director of the Houston Grand Opera and president of the Houston Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Mr. Callier was a management consultant for McKinsey and Company in Chicago and Houston.
