Prior to joining Sandlot, Mr. Loar's experience in business development, operations and mergers/acquisitions, includes JP Morgan-Chase, Blackhawk Corporation.
Most notably, he facilitated the acquisition of the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks from the Nordstrom family and sale of the team to Paul Allen, in 1997, as well as managed mergers and acquisitions activities, operations and corporate assets.
Mr. Loar is also a co-founder of Red Bird Cinema along with St. Louis Cardinals manager, Tony La Russa and actor, Kevin Pollak.
In 1997 he co-founded Venture Builders with Peggy Taylor, former COO of Peoplesoft, in Alamo, CA and Incline Village, NV.
Venture Builders was a catalyst company for start-up businesses.
Through Venture Builders, Mr. Loar successfully negotiated long term contracts with ESPN and Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing as well as Tony Tavares, former President of Disney Sports, former General Manager for Major League Baseball’s, Washington Nationals.
