Kuah Cheng Ooi

Mr. Kuah Cheng Ooi, CFA, is a Director at UOB Venture Management Pte Ltd.
Mr. Cheng Ooi has over eight years of experience in private equity, corporate advisory and fund management and has been with UOB Venture Management Pte Ltd since 2013.
As Associate Director, he is responsible for sourcing and screening of good investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio companies and executing exit strategies.
Prior to UOB Venture Management Pte Ltd, Mr. Cheng Ooi was Associate Director for M&A Transaction Services with Deloitte Malaysia, providing due diligence and valuation services to clients from a wide range of industries.
Before that, he was the head of research and strategy for Hadrons Capital, a corporate advisory and private equity firm in Malaysia.
Mr. Cheng Ooi received his Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide.
He is a CFA charter holder and is a member of CFA Institute.
