Larissa Collins

Prior to joining Hewlett Foundation, Ms. Collins worked for three years in the for-profit world at a local biotech company.
Before that, she worked for nonprofits, including First 5 Calaveras, a government-grant funding agency with a lot fewer zeros on the amounts they distributed.
Over the course of her career, she worked for other nonprofit and educational institutions, including Planned Parenthood and Stanford University.
Ms. Collins holds an undergraduate degree in medical anthropology and is determined to (eventually) hold an M.P.H.
Her current second occupation (and slight distraction from the M.P.H.
goal) is raising two great kids.
