For the past 100 years, Bettonville has been the leading manufacturer and supplier of natural diamond processing tools and machines for the worldwide gem-diamond industry. In the 80's, Bettonville went international and opened trading and service offices in South Africa, Israel, Thailand, and India. In 1994, Bettonville opened a fully equipped factory in Wijnegem, Belgium, operating on CNC machines enabling manufacturing of high quality, precise products. One of the most successful Bettonville products were Sawing Blades for sawing of natural diamonds. The quality of this product was unparalleled in the diamond industry and over tens of years Bettonville enjoyed a monopoly in the market. Other significant success included its automatic bruiting machines, which traded under the name MAXICUT. The concept of Maxicut was patented worldwide and over the years developed further into 8 consecutive generations of automatic bruiting machines.
