Maria Antonakos

Ms. Maria Antonakos is Senior Advisor-Business Development at Renewal Partners.
Ms. Antonakos has 16 years of experience working in the charitable sector with families, individuals, and not-forprofit organizations to achieve their philanthropic goals.
She works with the team at Renewal2 to assist with business development and investor relations on the east coast of Canada where she is based and in the USA. In addition to her work with Renewal2, she is the founder and chief strategist for OPUS Philanthropic Strategies, a boutique consulting firm dedicated to advancing best practices in philanthropy.
Prior to establishing OPUS, she was the Senior Director of Philanthropic Services for The Canadian Women’s Foundation and helped established Women PlayBIG, an ongoing think-tank for women philanthropists.
