Prior to joining Sunrise, Mr.Douglass was the Senior Portfolio Manager for the Structured Products Group at NewStar Financial.Mr.Douglass was also the head of RMBS Research and Modeling at Fitch Ratings, Chief Credit Officer and Chief Underwriting Officer for Structured Products at a start-up mono-line insurance company, head of global ABS Credit at GenRe Financial Products, Senior Director at Moody’s Investors Service, and ABS/CMO trader at Bear Stearns.
He has traded, rated, structured and invested in many different consumer and commercial asset types across the entire capital structure in the US and international markets and brings a depth and breadth of knowledge to the Capital Markets team.
Mr.Douglass graduated with a BS in Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis, and received an MBA from the University of Chicago.
