Mark Prussing

Prior to joining PFM in 2009, Mr. Prussing previously served as the State Comptroller of the State of Alaska, where he had responsibility for the management, safekeeping and financial reporting for nearly Dollar 10 billion in investments.
He has been a member of the Washington Association of School Business Officials teaching faculty and guest speaker at the University of Washington and Seattle Pacific University’s school superintendent studies programs.
Mr. Prussing has been a frequent guest speaker at Washington education conferences and seminars and was the lead editor of the Washington State School Directors Association’s Washington School Bond Manual.
Mr. Prussing is a CPA and has experience auditing private companies and governmental organizations with KPMG.
He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Utah, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
