Prior to joining GarMark in 2008, Mr. Bird was an Asset Manager at Seavest Inc., a White Plains based boutique investment management firm focused primarily on real estate private equity investing.
Prior to joining Seavest, he worked at FG II Ventures, LLC, a private venture investment firm based in Greenwich, CT, where he was responsible for conducting due diligence and analysis on a number of private transactions.
Preceding his time at FG II, he was a Business Analyst at European Capital Ventures plc, a London, U.K.
based venture capital fund.
Mr. Bird received a BA from Warwick University where he graduated with honors with a double major in History and French.
He earned his MBA from The University of Pennsylvania.
