Mauro Gerli

Mr. Mauro Gerli is a Relationship Manager of Horizon21 Alternative Investments since January 2007.
Mr. Mauro Gerli has extensive experience in the structuring and distributing of hedge funds and related products.
He began his career in 1997 with Swiss Re, Zurich, Switzerland, in the Alternative Risk Transfer division, where he worked as Transaction Underwriter in the structuring of financial reinsurance deals for international industrial and financial corporations.
In 1999, he changed his career path by crossing over industry lines and joining Man Investments Products in Pfaeffikon SZ, Switzerland, as a Relationship Executive.
Furthermore, he was responsible for the distribution of hedge fund products to institutional clients in Switzerland and Southern Europe.
In 2001, he co-founded Noble Investments, Zurich, Switzerland, a subsidiary of the Singapore-listed Noble Group Limited, specialized in structuring and distributing hedge fund products with leading investment banks and investment managers, which were placed on a global basis from the offices in Zurich, Switzerland, and Hong Kong, Peoples´ Republic of China.
He holds a degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and is a CFA charterholder.
