Schmidt is a Chairman, President & Chief Compliance Officer at Diversified Management, Inc. As the Chief Compliance Officer, His most important role with DMI is as the executive responsible for compliance with regulatory requirements and the development of policies and procedures, according to the rules issued by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Prior to joining Diversified Management in 1996, he was a Supervisor and Trust Operations/Securities Team Leader in the securities department of Firstar Trust Company.
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1990 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, majoring in finance.
He is a Certified Financial Planner and a member of the Financial Planning Association.
