mike Chaparro

Mike Chaparro is Corporate Development Principal.
He manages all venture capital investment data and patent portfolio data for USAA.
His team also develops the market and financial analyses used to monetize USAA intellectual property.
Before joining USAA in 2014, Mike served in the Navy as Chief Engineer aboard ship and as engineering plant inspector for the Atlantic Fleet.
He previously served as Director of Technology Integration at the Joint Information Operations Warfare Command where his team designed analytic solutions for the Defense Department Intelligence Community.
Mike holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and earned his MBA at the Naval Postgraduate School.
