Shaun Fernando

Shaun co-manages Aura Group’s property funds management business, leveraging his 20 years’ experience in property lending, finance and capital markets across numerous industries including property, financial services and professional services.
Shaun is responsible for co-managing the Aura Property Credit Fund and forms part of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Aura Group, Shaun worked at Challenger (CIP Asset Management division), Gresham Property, GE Capital, KPMG, Nestle and Worley.
Shaun has a breadth of financing experience across property finance, and has worked on procuring, structuring, arranging, providing/vetting funding and raising capital.
Shaun holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Macquarie University and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University (graduated Dux) and was a Chartered Accountant
