Prior to joining Platinum Equity in 2005, Ms. Smith was a Vice President in the International Private Equity Group of Trust Company of the West (TCW) in Los Angeles where she traveled extensively representing TCW’s interest with their joint venture partners.
She became a Certified Public Accountant while working in the audit group of Ernst & Young LLP as a Manager.
Ms. Smith holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Anderson School at University California Los Angeles and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting from California State University Northridge
