Mr. Steve J.
Malin is a Portfolio Management Research at Vinva Investment Management Ltd.
Before joining Vinva he was Managing Director and Global Head of Quantitative Strategy for J.P.
Morgan Equity Research based in Hong Kong.
In this role he was responsible for 6 international research desks covering all the major equity markets.
Responsibilities included advising the J.P.
Morgan institutional client base on systematic investment strategies and portfolio construction techniques as well as providing regular and ad hoc research publications and bespoke analysis.
He joined J.P.
Morgan in 2003 and initially focused on the Australian market before expanding his remit to include all Asia Pacific markets in 2005 and all global markets in 2008.
rior to joining J.P.
Morgan he spent 4 years at Credit Suisse working in Australian equity research as a member of the quantitative data analytics team and before entering the finance industry He spent 6 years designing and developing software systems for a variety of blue chip companies in London, Dublin and Sydney.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Bristol University, UK, a Post Graduate Diploma in Knowledge Engineering and a Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance and Investment.
