Mr. Stuart Dear, CFA, is Head of Fixed Income at Schroder Investment Management Australia Ltd.
He joined Schroders in October 2012 as Fund Manager of Fixed Income.
He has portfolio management responsibility for Schroders absolute return fixed income strategies including the Schroder Cash Plus Strategy as well as Core Strategies.
As a senior member of the investment team, he has an important role in the development and implementation of overall fixed income investment strategy across the team’s product set.
He joined from Aberdeen Asset Management where he held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income where he had portfolio management responsibility for a range of fixed income portfolios as well being a member of the rates, relative value and inflation linked strategy teams.
He has over 15 years fixed income investment experience gained at both Aberdeen and Credit Suisse Asset Management.
Mr. Dear holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
