Corbett is a Chief Risk Officer at SSgA Funds Management, Inc. Mr. Corbett is a member of the firm's operating group.
He is Co-Chair of the State Street Global Advisors' Risk Committee, and serves on several senior governance committees across State Street.
He leads a global team responsible for managing investment, liquidity, counterparty, model, and operational risks across State Street Global Advisors.
His primary objective is to provide independent oversight, and ensure risks are known, quantified, communicated, and prudently managed.
He has over 28 years of experience, and has held a wide variety of roles within operations, equity research, portfolio management, and risk management at State Street.
He holds a BS in Finance from Boston College, an MBA from Bentley University and an MS in Corporate Finance from Bentley.
