Dr. Barbara J.
Leclerc is a Co-Chief Investment Officer & Senior Advisor at Bridgewater Advisors, Inc. She brings her rare blend of compassion and investment acumen to bear on behalf of Bridgewater clients.
As chair of the investment committee, she challenges thinking and masterminds approach to portfolio management.
Dr. Leclerc began her post-academic career as a credit counselor, where she gained valuable insights into people’s relationships with their money.
She earned a BA in psychology from the University of Southern Maine and a PhD in philosophy from Stony Brook.
