Brendan Patrick McDermott is currently a Portfolio Manager, Senior Research Analyst & Senior Vice President at Neuberger Berman Europe Ltd. He joined Neuberger Berman in 2009 and is a portfolio manager and senior research analyst focused on distressed and special situation opportunities globally.
Prior to joining Neuberger Berman, he worked at Newberry Capital Management, where he was responsible for analyzing distressed investments in the airline/aircraft, building supplies, homebuilding and hospitality industries.
Prior to this role, he was an associate in BNP Paribas’ Leveraged Finance Group and prior to that he held a variety of positions within Arthur Andersen and Huron Consulting Group’s Corporate Advisory Services Practices.
He previously received his BA in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross.
