Brian H. Sedrish

Mr. Sedrish brings extensive experience in real estate private equity investing, acquired through his work at several of the world’s premier institutional investment banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds to his role as president of capital markets.
At Antares, Mr. Sedrish’s responsibilities include leading the firm’s capital markets efforts, with particular focus on optimizing the capitalization of the firm’s real estate portfolio through the efficient structuring of both debt and equity.
He also co-leads the firm’s global capital-raising efforts.
Prior to joining Antares, Mr. Sedrish was with Irongate, a real estate development and investment company based in Los Angeles.
Before his tenure at Irongate, he was employed in the Fortress Investment Group (Drawbridge), where he was responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and structuring debt and equity transactions across various real estate asset classes and geographic regions.
Previously, Mr. Sedrish worked at Goldman, Sachs & Company in the firm’s principal real estate fund (Whitehall), where he structured and negotiated the purchase of assets across varying asset classes and geographic regions.
In addition, Mr. Sedrish was employed by Lazard Frères in the firm’s principal real estate fund, where he evaluated, analyzed, and structured complex, large-scale private equity investments in real estate–related operating companies.
Prior to this, he spent several years at Vornado Realty Trust, Transwestern Investment Company, and Bear, Stearns & Co. Mr. Sedrish was born and raised in Long Island, New York before earning his bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Michigan.
He then earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, followed by his MPA from the John F.
Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
Mr. Sedrish resides in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife and son.
