Daniel Edwards

Daniel Edwards is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles' Washington D.C.
office and a member of the global Financial Services Practice.
He previously served as global managing partner of the Private Equity and Financial Services practices.
Daniel’s expertise spans both traditional and alternative asset management sectors, as well as investment banking and private equity.
Daniel has served in numerous leadership capacities around the firm, including head of geographies overseeing the firm’s offices worldwide.
Also, he was the regional managing partner for the firm’s business in Asia Pacific and co-global head of the Financial Services Practice.
He moved into these roles having run the Asia Pacific Financial Services Practice and the firm’s Tokyo office.
Prior to moving to Asia, Daniel managed the Wall Street office, the heart of the firm’s Financial Services Practice, and at the same time was co-head of the global Hedge Fund Practice.
He is fluent in French and Spanish.
