Emily Meyers

Emily is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Electric Capital.
She advises the firm on all legal matters and is responsible for overseeing its compliance function.
Emily has over 15 years of experience delivering strategic legal and compliance solutions to facilitate growth, protect assets, and mitigate risk.
Prior to joining Electric Capital, Emily was Deputy General Counsel at Paxos and Associate General Counsel at WeWork, where she built and led major global legal and compliance initiatives.
Earlier in her career, she was an enforcement attorney at the Federal Election Commission and a senior associate at WilmerHale LLP.
Emily earned her B.A.
magna cum laude from Brown University, and her J.D.
from Columbia University School of Law.
