Enrique Bernardo Mariano

Mr. Enrique Bernardo Mariano is a Partner & Managing Director at Equity Research Desk LLC.
He is on the Board of Directors at Ceda Hill S.A, European Bank for Reconstruction & Development and Zagreb Stock Exchange.
He is founding and managing partner of ERDesk, an investment banking and consulting firm focused in exchanges and global capital markets-related fintech.
He has extensive experience in leading consulting teams on capital markets projects in emerging markets, including Russia, Qatar, Turkey, Romania, India, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Japan, USA and Korea, among others.
In particular, he is an advisor to the European Development Bank (EBRD) on the acquisition of stakes in stock exchanges and has advised them in Turkey, Russia, Romania and Croatia.
Prior to founding ERDesk, he was COO of US-based electronic Broker Dealer Bulltick Capital Markets, President of Reuters’ Bondex (a fixed income analytics company), Director of Instinet and member of Instinet’s Strategic Committee, founder and partner of West Side Consultants, one of the largest private banks in Uruguay today and the Co- founder of Latinstocks, one of the first online brokers in Latam.
He holds an MS in Economics from the University of Illinois and an MS in Finance from Columbia University.
